Tutorial

This tutorial explains step by step how to use Frida. It consists of five sessions. Execute all commands in Frida and observe the program’s output — the listings are designed for interactive use, not passive reading.

Work through the sessions in order:

  1. Frida as pocket calculator — arithmetic, expressions, built-in functions
  2. Inspect and plot data files — load files, inspect, plot
  3. Simple manipulations — select, bin, reorganize data
  4. Elementary fitting — fit a parametric function, extract parameters
  5. Fitting with convolution — convolute a theory with an experimental resolution
